MIKE MEI

I am Mike Mei, Assistant Professor of Economics at Colgate University. I finished my PhD in Economics in 2023 at the University of Michigan. I also have a BA in economics and mathematics from the University of Chicago.

I do research in urban economics (housing and real estate), economic demography, and labor economics. My research answers questions about the distributional effects of land use policies, the political economy of housing regulations, and the distributional effects of new housing development.
